      Assignments & Submissions

      Submission Modes

      Individual

      Upload your own work directly.

      Group

Only one member of the team should submit, to avoid system confusion.

      Submitting an Assignment

You can reach an assignment two ways: click Add submission next to it on your Timeline, or open it directly from the course's Assessment section.

      01

Opening the assignment first shows a Grading summary: whether it's hidden from students, the number of participants, how many have submitted, and the time remaining before the due date.

      02

      Click Add submission to start.

      03

On the submission screen, check the Opened and Due dates at the top, then use the File submissions area to attach your work, either drag and drop the file directly, or click the add-file icon to open the file picker.

      04

In the file picker, choose Upload a file, click Browse to select the file from your device, optionally rename it under Save as, then click Upload this file.

      05

Back on the submission screen, click Save changes to finish.

      !

Note: maximum file size and the number of files you can attach are shown above the drop area, and vary by assignment. Check these before you start.

      Deadlines & Academic Integrity

      Deadlines and Late Submissions

      !

Never wait until the last minute. Moodle traffic spikes near deadlines, and even a short delay can result in a late-submission penalty.

Need an extension? Contact your lecturer before the deadline, with supporting documentation.

Late submissions may result in missing marks or failure.

      Academic Integrity

KCA University is keen on academic integrity, clearly communicate any AI generated content, avoid plagiarism and exam/coursework irregularities.
