1. How do I log in to the KCAU Virtual Campus for the first time?
KCA University uses Single Sign-On (SSO). Visit virtualcampus.kcau.ac.ke and click "Login with Google". Use your official Student Email and existing email password.2. Error: "Your account is pending email confirmation"
Log into your KCAU Student Gmail, check yourinbox, spam, or trash foldersand search for the activation email from "Admin User." Click the verification link to finish syncing your profile.3. Error: "Account with your email cannot be found"
This occurs if you haven't registered units in the Student Portal. Ensure your units are registered on the student portal, then wait 24 hours for the system sync.4. How do I enroll in my units on Moodle?
Enrollment is AUTOMATIC. Once registered in the ERP, units sync to Moodle within 24 hours. If units are missing after this window, contact your School’s Admin Office.5. Is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) mandatory?
Yes. You must activate 2FA on your university Gmail account. Because of SSO, your LMS security is directly tied to your official email security. Click to download guide.6. How do I confirm my assignment submission?
An automated receipt is sent to your Student Email. Check this immediately after upload to ensure your file was successfully received.7. What are the rules for Online Assessments?
Assessments are timed and strictly monitored. Please note that assignments and CATs must be submitted during the same semester of unit registration. Submissions from previous semesters will not be accepted.8. Can I access the LMS on my mobile phone?
Yes. Use the web browser or download the Moodle App from your app store, enterhttps://virtualcampus.kcau.ac.ke, and select "Google" to login.9. My units are in the Student Portal but NOT the LMS?
Verify registration status is "Confirmed" in the Student Portal. If units still don't appear after 24 hours, contact your school for guidance.10. Who do I contact for technical support?
