      Quizzes, Exams & Proctoring

      Before the exam

       

      Download your Exam Card from the Student Portal at least 3 days before exams start. Without a valid digital exam card, you cannot access the Moodle exam room.

       

      Run your Tech Rehearsal (see Technical Setup & Requirements) at least 24 hours ahead.

      During the exam

       

      Final exams use Camera Proctoring or Safe Exam Browser. If your camera is blocked, or the required software is missing, you will be automatically locked out.

       

      Complete the Course Policy Quiz in your course beforehand if you haven't already, it confirms you've read the relevant policies.

      If you're locked out

      Contact elearning@kcau.ac.ke immediately, with a screenshot of the lockout message, your Student Admission Number, and the exact time it happened.
