In your course, go to More → Course Reuse.

Set the top-left dropdown to Restore.

Upload the .mbz template file, click Restore.

Scroll to the bottom of the summary page, click Continue.

Choose "Merge the backup course into this course" → Continue.

Click Next through all screens until Perform Restore appears, then click it.

Populate every placeholder marked [...] with your actual content.

Do this first. Restoring the template after you've already built your own weeks can create duplicate sections that are hard to clean up.
